TriBeCans for the fight against Myeloma is a philanthropic organization for the benefit of the International Myeloma Foundation.
The International Myeloma Foundation supports those diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, cancer of the bone marrow, a complex cancer that destroys bone. In the United States over 1500 new cases of Myeloma are diagnosed each month. Once considered a disease of the elderly, people as young as 20 years old are now being diagnosed with Myeloma.
TriBeCans for the fight against Myeloma was formed by a group of women dedicated to the cause. Marie Moretti, Grandmother of group member Donna Marotta, was diagnosed in April of 2009. While it has been a difficult year of chemo and blood tranfusions, we are pleased to know that right now Marie is doing well. Her doctors have come up with a treatment that seems to be holding the disease at bay.
That is why we need your support. Although Myeloma is incureable, it is treatable. New drugs and treatments are on their way, but money is need to support the research.
Please join Tribecans for the fight against Myeloma. Will you please make a donation now to our cause?
